Our Committees

Board of Directors
The government and policy making responsibilities are vested with the Board. The Board of Directors is the fiduciary and representative agent of the dues paying Chamber members. The members are volunteers and serve two year terms.

Executive Committee
Acts for and on behalf of the Board, but is accountable to the Board for its actions. President, Past President, President Elect, Treasurer, Chaplain and Secretary.

Finance Committee
Responsible for all Chamber funds. Supervises annual balanced budget and annual audit. Chief Financial Officer appointed by Board. No membership limit.

Strategic Planning Committee
The Chamber is committed to holding annual planning sessions to review and plan for the coming year. This includes determining what events will be held as well as funding, budgeting and general planning for the next year.

Scholarship Committee
Responsible for reading and scoring all scholarship applications that have been submitted according to application rules. This committee will award North Fort Myers Senior High students college scholarship funds as available through the North Fort Myers Chamber Foundation. No membership limit.

Honorary Mayor Gala Committee
Reports to the Executive Committee; 5 - 10 members. The Chair and committee directs the entire Mayors Gala Fundraisers including directing the subcommittees including; Theme, Venue, Sales, Auction and Mayor Candidate committees. This is a fun committee and a great way to get involved. No membership limit.

Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser Committee
Reports to the Executive Committee; 5 - 10 members. The Chair and committee directs the entire Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser including directing the subcommittees including; Theme, Venue, Sales, Auction and Waiter Candidates committees. This is a great way to get involved and a fun way to spend an evening. No membership limit.
